Battery, range and consumption
Usable battery capacity is the energy a driver can use. Gross battery capacity is the full pack size; the difference is a protected buffer that helps the battery operate safely and last well.
Official range is the distance achieved in a controlled test. Compare results only when the test cycle matches: WLTP with WLTP, or EPA with EPA. Consumption shows how much energy the car uses per 100 km; lower can mean greater efficiency in comparable conditions.
Charging figures
Maximum AC describes the highest rate the car’s onboard charger can accept at home, work or destination chargers. AC phases indicate whether the vehicle can use one- or three-phase AC supplies where available.
Maximum DC is the peak power accepted from a rapid charger. It is not a constant rate: the car usually slows charging as the battery fills, and temperature, charger capability and battery conditioning all matter.
Performance and practicality
Power is the motor output in kilowatts. The 0–100 km/h time measures acceleration from a standstill, so a smaller number is quicker. Drivetrain describes which wheels are driven: front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
Body type, seats, boot capacity and dimensions help with everyday fit. Length, width and height are external measurements, while wheelbase is the distance between the front and rear wheels and often affects cabin space and manoeuvrability.
